Watergate is not what bugs me about Nixon.

EPA, OSHA, the Unified Budget, Wage and Price Controls, removal of the Gold Standard, and I have many, many more....

You're right. Watergate was the greatest "non-event" ever promoted by the media. It was entirely a Washington Post/NY Times creation later pumped up by the leftist TV networks in cahoots with the Democrat Party to take down a President. The liberal TV networks kept on it day after day. I couldn't believe it.

Unfortunately Nixon caved into them. I don't think his enemies had the Senate votes to convict him on anything if he was impeached. Since then the leftist press and Democrats have tried to make Watergate a template for bringing down not just Republicans but particularly conservative politicians.
