NO WAY. Hillary is done this time. She will make nice to hold the party together. The only way she will get in is if something happens to Obama like:
A) Huge Scandal on Corruption or sex.(Like John Edwards)
B) Brain Cancer (Like Teddy K.)
C) Death in the kitchen (Like RFK)
D) An Airplane accident.
F) A Motor Car accident (Like Patton or Princess Diana)
G) A complete mental breakdown

She has a plan—Clintons don’t do anything without a plan.

“Hillary and her minions have been entirely too absent since just after she decided to stop campaigning”

And keeping Bill out of the limelight and his mouth shut is no small task! Something is definitely brewing, and when it comes to a full boil — watch out!!

I suppose it would be racist to suggest that Hillary et al have just been giving Barack all the rope he needs.

She will implore the delegates to re-think the choice they have made

No she won't. She would not get the nomination if she did anything like that. She will be gracious and magnanimous and hit the GOP hard, but she will not concede that it is over, leaving it open for the convention to look at the contrast between her quite full pantsuit and the empty suit. If Hillary is lucky, a lot of delegates will change their minds, and when the roll call is taken, things will suddenly get interesting.

She doesn't want to be perceived as stealing the nomination (she will need the support of the entire party, including blacks, to win the election.) She wants to be perceived as coming to the rescuing the party after it became clear that the party would be defeated without her Thighness at the helm. Obambi would then be given the no. 2 slot as compensation, and all would be well in the Dem party.

If that scenario doesn't work out for her, then she will sabotage the election and consider a run in 2012.

Reading all of this and thinking of it "makes a tingle run up my leg". This is tooooooooo delicious. If the One is not nominated, there will be blood in the streets nationwide. I also think it would destroy the dhim party for a generation or more and McCain wins in a landslide.
Think about this all ye Freepers... If the Hillary! gets the nomination, what happens if McCain picks Steele (R-MD) as VP? Will it make the church-going black voters feel that they have a new home?
Think about it, the dhim party was the party of segregation, Jim Crow, etc but somehow they are now the party of black America.
Can McCain turn this into an historic sea change by picking a black conservative like Steele or JC Watts for VP?

Here we go again with the Clinton lovers that want eight more years and just refuse to let it go.

With the Democrats being fully invested in “hope” and “change” for the last few months, how in the world can they sell Hillary as anything other than the ‘old politics’? I don’t see how the undecideds would be inclined to vote for the party of chaos.

Well put. Hillary wants her little show, but she's probably reconciled to the fact that this isn't her year. Splitting the party or making a mess isn't going to get her any closer to the White House, so why do it?
