You might call them the ‘it’ bags or ‘the bag of the season’, both are cliches. Putting together this list of the fall’s top handbags, we looked for artwork, real craftsmanship, and fabrics and patterns that make a statement and stand the test of the time. Every fashionista would die for these bags, as for us, we would kill for Valentino’s Petale Dome Bag, which descended down from fashion heaven.

The Ferragamo is the only one that is even marginally attractive, IMO. But unless my wife could find it on sale for $49.95, it’ll stay in the store.

Handbags are outragously overpriced. You can get a good knockoff of any designer bag these days for between $50-100.

I am not a hug fan of any of them....

Personally, I like Marino Orlandi bags and I buy them used on Ebay at a fraction of the cost.....
