I know this has been covered already, but I wanted my fellow Freepers to see just how mad this movie has made at least one lib.

I was thinking of some of the more recent ads endorsed by McCain.
I wonder if some of these closet conservatives are helping to make them.

Come October, the film may do well, if a campaign like the one for "Passion of the Christ", along with a "let's stick it to the liberals" message is ginned up via the usual outlets. This is the part which tells me this writer is actually concerned about the emerging specter of conservatism. He may snear at it, but it has him worried. It should be dead.

And I'll stack up the left in general (despite airhead college protesters) against the talk radio/Fox News audiences, rednecks, neo-con paranoids, racists (oh yeah, it still abounds), militia members, neo-Country Western crappy musicians (you know who they are), etc. etc., as to who is better informed. I'd take that bet. And from a discussion I was having the other evening with my beloved wife - if it came down to a fight, I'll take ten rednecks behind me over one hundred coastal elitists - anytime.

How libs can even survive with such vitriol is amazing. The Left in HollyWIERD still can't get over the Communist "Blacklisting" in the 50's, and use that as ammo to do the same to "Conservatives. As for the "Friends of ABE", I wish we could get a chapter here in NY. I'm one of the few "OUTED" Conservative Actors in NY .. (so I don't work Much ) I'm hopeful, tho. I've been working with College Students at a local Film School, and several of them are admitted to be either Conservative or at least Libertarian (afraid to admit to conservative).

Where I work, I have to keep my conservatism deep in the closet.

Airplane! is probably one of the funniest movies of all time and one of my favorites along with Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein and Monty Pythons Holy Grail.
I will definitely go see An American Carol when it comes out; first because Im sure it will be very funny and secondly because will piss off quite a few liberals.
