Never mind a petition — the way to “recall” Pelosi is by the GOP taking back the House. Bingo, she will no longer be Speaker.

The domestic drilling issue gave the Republicans a winning issue, if they can capitalize on it and get out the vote, we have a chance of retaking Congress. In 2006 Democrats won by very small margins in a number of places, because conservatives stayed home. If they turn out in droves this time, there is a chance and wouldn’t it be something to have a Republican president and Republican Congress.

As Hugh Hewitt was saying on Fox News the other day — a vote for ANY Democrat, even a relatively moderate one, IS a vote for Pelosi.

I would like to point out that if the 15 Republican who did not vote, and the 2 who voted to go on vacation, had voted not to adjourn the House would still be in session.

Uh, neither senators or representatives to the federal government can be recalled. Best to read the Constitution. Members of either house can be expelled by vote of the appropriate house, but the voters back home need to wait until the next election.

As unlikely as it might be; do we really want the Democrats to replace her with someone who has a brain?

If the Demwits lose in November (as so many of us no doubt wish) after having so many apparent advantages and big leads in polls (and fake polls by their partisan media shills), it won’t matter if Pelosi remains in Congress — she’ll be out of her leadership role for her party, the Party of Treason.
