Once again Senator Obama has proven that he is a candidate who will do anything and say anything to gain political power. Today, Senator Obama repeated the calls of failed congressional leaders Pelosi and Reid by calling upon the President to open our Strategic Oil Reserves. The proposal by Obama would open up 10% of the nations oil reserve in order to provide short term price relief that would last through the November Election. The US uses 21 million barrels of oil daily. So, if we open the SOR for free up, what, 70 million barrels, how does that give anyone relief.
Here’s relief for you: In the past several weeks, the cost of oil is falling like a brick through water for a variety of reasons. The price of crude is getting crushed again today.
Must be all those speculators! Hah!

Nancy Pelosi said for me to say....uh...Oil Reserves....uh...relief...uh....and that I eat bacon and will get the kids a dog...if I win.
It could provide temporary relief by providing let’s say 1 million barrels per day for 70 days. It gets them through the election and saves their asses. But what happens after November. It’s a ‘gimmick’.

This lack of experience is killing his campaign. He’s flip flopping all over the place, He is scaring off any Christian voters he had with this Messianic reception he had in Europe, and he just can’t get beyond the margin of error in even the most bias of polls. Against an unpopular GOP candidate, no less.
This guy makes Jean (Frenchy) Kerry look like a pillar of stability.
