"The minibar, the hotel coffee shop and the convention center refreshment stand all have one thing in common: HIGHWAY ROBBERY. Why am I going to pay THREE FREAKING DOLLARS for a Diet Coke when I can walk across the hall of the convention center to a pop machine and pay a buck? $3.25 for a Diet Coke in the minibar? Are they insane? FOUR DOLLARS for an individual can of Pringles?" $20 dollars for a cheeseburger??? Take it away boys.

The Nutroots crowd wasn't too thrilled with Nancy but, they loved Al's appearance.

"there's one right-wing type roaming the halls of NN08 attempting to pretend he's a liberal and then going home to blog about it. There may be more. NN08 attendees - be careful what you say to who." I call bovine scatology. There isn't a single conservative blogger that would plunk down $450 to sneak around and act liberal.
This dummy is just sowing paranoia to ingratiate him/her/itself to The Skrawny Greek.

Finally, if you didn’t hear it yet: we’re going to Pittsburgh next year!
OH MAN OH MAN! I can’t wait for this one. I’m hoping Jim Quinn and “America’s Morning Show” is aware of this, they could get some great guests from a humor standpoint.
This sure beats having to wait for CMU or Pitt students to march in the street for fun. They’re letting me know a year in advance... “LOTS OF MOONBAT DIP$HITS COMING YOUR WAY!”

Is there any relationship between the netroots bloggers meeting in Austin and the Aintitcoolnews filmgeek bloggers residing in Austin?
Both Hollyweird and DC seem concerned about what talkbackers are saying about them, their “products”, and their agendas. But rather than respond to the criticism and offer the product the consumers want, Hollywood/DC tries to find the proper way to market the same miserable product to gullible people.

To get free wireless internet in the guest rooms at the Hilton, log in down in the lobby and then take the elevator up to your room, keeping the connection active by refreshing the page your'e on every few seconds. . . . I am posting this from my room on the 12th floor. . . . Or you can just look inside the little folder they put your keycard in; that's usually where the clerk writes the password for individual rooms.

Am I the only one frustrated with Nancy Pelosi at NN08? . . . What other session had significant security deployed? The nerve: having tight security around the Speaker of the House in a hotel full of certifiably insane cellar dwellers.

The minibar, the hotel coffee shop and the convention center refreshment stand all have one thing in common: HIGHWAY ROBBERY. Psst...hey, KOmmie, here's a travel tip: the hotel gift shop has the best prices on cigarettes you'll ever see.

there's one right-wing type roaming the halls of NN08 attempting to pretend he's a liberal and then going home to blog about it. That's no liberal blogger! That's Karl Rove in a Halloween wig and a Code Pink tee shirt!

LOL! Most of us with hotel experience know about the mini bars, You are right...this guy is probably in a big hotel for the first time in his life (other than when his parents paid and told him, “NO. Leave the mini bar alone!”).
For some reason these types of conventions never come to Indianapolis...

Howard Dean's Register for Change bus tour came to Austin. Cash goes in the register, change comes out.
