Oh DAMN!....We can't afford to wait no longer."
what! no proof-readers?.....(damn) spell-checker or Freudian slip?
Voinovich actually responds to letters and emails? News to me - I have never gotten a reply from him, not even an automated one.
Beavercreek, OH
I got an honest, real, not computer generated response. Stunned. Like you I have contacted him in the past and been ignored.
There are several pieces of energy legislation he is working on. One is posted above, the other has been stalled in committee. The other is the Gas and Petroleum Refiners Act S. 1503.
This chokes me up.
If recent studies show that only 1% of the oil spills come from drilling and over 30% of the spills occur in transporting the oil.It is enviromentally sound to do more drilling at home.
I can’t stand Voinovich. Barely even a RINO. But with this one issue, he’s locked my vote for him in the future.
The man seems to have regained his senses, or is he up for re-election?
LOL.
Did Voinovich work up some tears when he released this?
I still can't get over Voinovich crying over John Bolton.
There are so many issues that would sink the dems this fall. But if this is an issue that the gop can unify around, then fine. It alone will crush, destroy the liberals. Make drilling and exploring for oil the central them at the gop convention. Let the people know that it’s the democrats in congress hurting the middle class and working poor. McCain and the gop would come out of the convention with a 20 point bounce.
This falls into the ‘stopped clock is right twice a day’ bucket.
When it’s voting time for ‘Stupidest Senator’ Voinovich can only say, ‘Thank the Lord for Sen. Boxer.’
