...More importantly however is the fact that news organizations across the country conveniently failed to publish this portion of Obama’s remarks. Both CNN Online and The New York Times published excerpts of the speech that omitted the gaffe.

Two reporters, however, took it upon themselves to alter the text of Obama’s speech in articles they published...

The link contents are hard to make sense of without clicking the imbedded link, but I believe this is the part that was purposely omitted from the original:

“After all those years in Washington, John McCain still doesn’t get it... I commend him for his desire to accelerate the search for a battery that can power the cars of the future.”

The coverup and altering are deliberate. The media can’t make a pretense of fairness any longer. They are 100% in the tank for their man Barry.

Not surprising. Liberal mainstream media is obamaesque that nothing bad about the toothy obama will be printed. This is what they did with clintoon during the ‘92 elections. When their golden child is running, a red light comes out on all negative stories. And MSM wonders why the general public doesn’t trust anything they say. HHHmmmnnn!!!!

I think a concerted effort to apply the so-called fairness doctrine to circumstances such as this might be enough to get the libs to say nevermind.

Smiling adoringly, a la "Oh, just look at him! He can do no wrong".

Like most Dems, she is completely ignoring his total lack of qualifications and experience for the job.

We need Press Control laws. Journalists should be licensed and registered and when they make things up or get them wrong there should be harsh Federal penalties. They should lose their right to publish for life and serve minimum mandatory sentences.
