Look, I'm not one to stand and defend Obama or his minions - but before we get too excited, note a few things:

The comparison presented is from someone born 30 years earlier, and before statehood - I know my Virginia birth certificate looks different than my mother's, so would I expect some revisions over the years. Let's look at one from a similar timeframe before we get too hot and bothered.

Likewise, with the folding - the last new copy of my birth certificate I ordered, it came in a large manilla envelope, and has still not been creased with a fold to this day. And yet, *gasp* it's REAL.

We're really reaching, here. If it's fake, let's prove it - but let's not breathlessly report things that are probably inconsequential.

Doesn't matter. What's important is that both of the documents have "OHSM 1.1 (Rev. 11/01) LASER" written on them, meaning they're both generated after November 2001.

Yes, but IT'S SO MUCH MORE FUN to breathlessly report inconsequential things than it is to face up to the fact that John McCain is a crappy, lame candidate who may as well be a Democrat.

The rev #s on the bottom of the certs are the same yet the certs look different.

The Obama document has a reversed date of 2007. I confirmed with the HI records department that for as long as these document forms have been printed on laser printers, THEY ALWAYS HAVE AN EMBOSSED SEAL, ON THE BACK, CLEARLY VISIBLE FROM THE FRONT. They also have a Stamped signature also.

If it ain't got the Seal, it's NO DEAL!
