If that’s the requirement, she does (not) meet it.
She was only in (American) Hawaii for just under 2 years, since prior to August 1959, Hawaii was not a state.
If she was of typical HS age, she would have been 17 at graduation? That’s one year.
Plus the 2 post-statehood in Hawaii.
That’s not 5.
