And who says the SCOTUS has not turned into a PURELY PARTISAN ACTIVIST group???
The only crime here is that we let these detainees live for so long. Execute them all now so we won’t have to deal with them anymore.
Remember the “good ole days” when the Constitution applied to American citizens only? And back when the SCOTUS paid attention to the WRITTEN LAW?
It works to the destruction of the Republic. Of course they’re pleased.
I think you’re going to see less prisoners, dead terrorists won’t be able to get an ACLU lawyer.
So now the USSC has bought into Slick Willie’s “Isn’t it all a criminal matter” approach?. ‘W’ should order all those asshats executed, immediately. To paraphrase Albert Anastasia, “If you ain’t got no defendants, you ain’t got no case”. Or, ship them somewhere overseas. Like 20,000 feet over Afghanistan. Then push.
Of course they praise it, they want whatever is against our country.
But wait a day....and he'll say that's not what I meant...The blogs are misconstuing my words.
In my opinion, we are only now seeing the beginning of war crime trials against American soldiers. They will expand under a Democrat in the White House and will include Bush Administration figures.
Negotiations with foreign opponents such as Iran and Syria will establish terrorist enclaves immune to attack. Likely Venezuela and other countries will join in with training camps.
The on-going power struggle between the White House, the US House and the Supreme Court. The SCOTUS, every day ‘lawyers’ now have the upper hand, taking the country even further into Socialism. Did the country fall the other day? If Ruth Bader Ginsburg had her way, it would have happened years ago.
I heard George Will on ABC praising the decision and saying it’s not a big deal. Unreal.
You're confused again, Hussein. The "legal black hole" is your "Trinity United Church of Christ" in Chicago.
What I remain most confused about in all this is how the SCOTUS can overturn, unilaterally, a law drafted and passed by both the Executive and Legislative branch? How does that fit with our concept of “balance of power?”
