So, we strengthen our alliances with Israel and New Zealand and the rest get to sit at the back of the bus. As far as what the world thinks....

actually the accuracy of this “poll” depends on watching the numbers as more folks chime in... we have a LONG time between now and november... I hope to see a lot of folks chime in just our of curiosity... of course.. like I said, we as Americans should NEVER base our elections on what the rest of the world thinks.. but it does make for interesting conversation..

I certainly would not put a lot of credibility in a WOELD poll that has only 4,000 votes.. it will be interesting to see where these numbers go between now and November..

Don't put too much weight into this. Since I am in Thailand, I just 'voted'. The rating for Thailand went from 100%/0% to 66%/33% meaning that only two people with Thailand IPs had used the website. The numbers are probably similar for most of the other countries listed. Given the way the percentages are reported, it is trivial to figure out the vote tallies for most of the countries... but I am too lazy.

More importantly, within a few minutes, Thailand went from 100% supporting Obama to strongly supporting McCain. ;)

I’m okay. I counted to ten and took a long walk with my dog. I saw an interview a few years back with some German college students who expressed a wish that they could vote in our presidential elections. One of them had the nerve to say he just wanted to “have my country back”. I went for a long walk with my dog then too.
