Oil is going to reach $150 USD per barrel by winter. Gasoline will hit $6 USD per gallon in the USA. What are we going to do then?

If you are a Democrat, you stop all domestic drilling, especially in prime areas like Alaska and the Gulf to keep the supply levels as low as possible. Then you tax windfall profits, to add even more costs. Then you regulate carbon and implement a cap and trade policy which will further tax the cost of energy. So in summary, to get prices lower you reduce supply and tax it heavily. Well, that is the Democrat platform anyways.
