Obama’s Church Applauded Pfleger’s Racist Hate Speech

Obama also accepts testimonial from 9/11 conspiracy theorist who equated 9/11 to the Reichstag Fire

Please view Priest Michael Pfleger Campaigns for Obama at Trinity United at YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zGgRaApkcP8). Pay attention not only to what Michael Pfleger is saying, but also to the audience’s reaction to “There were a whole lot of white people crying.” (Two screen shots appear below.) They didn’t get up and walk out in disgust. They didn’t sit in embarrassed silence while pretending not to hear. They applauded wildly, and many stood up to give “There were a whole lot of white people crying” a standing ovation. These are the same people with whom Barack and Michelle Obama have gone to church for the past 20 years. Afterward, Barack Obama’s NEW pastor, Otis Moss, said “Thank God for the message, and thank God for the messenger.”

To paraphrase Martin Luther King, the problem has nothing to do with the color of Barack Obama’s skin and everything to do with the content (or lack thereof) of his character. His long membership in what may now be credibly called a racist hate organization–we think Trinity United Church of Christ’s enthusiastic response to “There were a whole lot of white people crying” qualifies it as such, just as glee over “There were a whole lot of Negroes crying” would be suitable for a Klan rally–is a prime example. Now we will share yet another testimonial that Barack Obama accepted. Obama’s pastor Jeremiah Wright said in effect that the United States deserved 9/11, and Rep. Keith Ellison suggests that the United States perpetrated 9/11 “like the Reichstag fire.” (Read more…)

What is more important than Pfleger's hate speech is the reaction of Barack and Michelle Obama's fellow congregants: a standing ovation for racist material. This should be made clear in letters to the editor and blog entries.

That we actually get to see it for a change. Feeling guilty for racist history in America? Vote O'Bama, that's penance, contrition, and forgiveness all in one. I've never heard our priests give homilies like this... Stoke the fire higher, "Father" Pfleger.

We don't need to feel guilty for what happened in generations past. We don't need to purge the guilt from our souls for some ginned up ideologue with a messiah complex.

There's got to be something more to this story. Why would a Catholic priest do this? Why preach there at all?

Something is very fishy about this story. Pfleger should be severely punished for this breach of trust vis-a-vis his own congregation.

What would compel him to stand there and vilify white people this way?

Just another message to blacks saying that their problems are not their fault and that it’s ok to blame whitey for all their problems. Sorry, Michael, it’s idiots like you who keep far too many blacks from bootstrapping themselves into a better life like so many others have. Selling the I’m-a-victim message is so easy even a white guy can do it. Of course, if you didn’t stir the pot and sell this poison, you be a backwater preacher with no congregation, except for Jesse and Al, perhaps.

Maybe this is going on all over the country.

Just sayin’

If I attended KKK meetings for the past 20 years...and the leaders and speakers in those meetings acknowledged me as a leader...a CONGRESSMAN. Then to the press and people who are critical of me attending the meetings, I said that I went to the meetings but didn’t agree with what was being presented or claimed I didn’t hear any racial comments.......well...you get my point.

“What would compel him to stand there and vilify white people this way?”

He does it everyday. It makes him feel important to parade around, behaving like a black comedian, and have the congregations of his own church and Obama’s church cheer him on.

I know the Chicago diocese tried to transfer him somewhere else a couple of years ago, and IIRC, he threatened to take his own congregation elsewhere.

I'm talking about a Catholic priest leaving his own church to preach in church like this. Especially in this way. I have never heard screaming and carrying on by a Catholic priest like Pfleger did. It so far out of the norm as to suggest insanity or a serious need for publicity.

Pfleger has merely hijacked the Diocese of Chicago and St. Sabina’s to carry on his personal war against whitey and America. He’s no more a priest than frog squat.

God looks into the hearts of men and knows their true desires. Pfleger has a hot future.

The Catholic Church, like the UCC and others, has a lot of really pathological clergy. Especially after Vatican II was hijacked they swarmed out of the woodwork and into the church, with insurgency on their agendas. Only the divinely inspired election of John Paul II saved the church from possibly irreparable corruption by the hate-filled leftwing "humanists."

Are you kidding? He'd tell it was all the fault of America that they were poor. Then he'd fit them for suicide bombing attire.

Awwww, nuts. I just went to Pfleger's Church's website.

This church, like Wright's "church" should lose their tax exempt status. They are not churches but rather podia where hate mongers are allowed sanctuary from reality.

This is all about getting whites to hate the fact that they are white. It is apparent from the behavior of the whites that attend that the church that they have convinced them to feel guilty for being part of the Caucasian race.

A mentally challenged individual could make the distinction between right and wrong at that hate filled church. It is beyond belief that any reasonable person would not associate BHO with the hate filled attitudes promoted at the church?

Wake up America, electing BHO will put this country back 100 or more years.

Billery must have a rabbit to pull out of the hat at the last minute or have something big that they will reveal about Obomber for them to stay in the race.
