Obama Defeats FL/MI But Loses Support Of Feminist Lobby

Do You Hear The Cracking? The 30 person committee that rendered their decision today was made up of 8 Obama supporters and 7 DNC representatives hand picked by Dean; allowing Dean & Obama to garnish a majority vote without Dean actually having to cast a vote. The members of this committee had their minds made up when they announce the meeting, not after today’s public hearings.

The Clinton campaign naturally cannot be happy about this result, but more importantly the majority female support that Clinton enjoyed just took one more step away from Obama. Mike Kaszuba of the Minneapolis Star Tribune, reported yesterday morning that Koryne Horbal, the founder of the DFL Feminist Caucus, acknowledged that she will advise her supporters and all women not back Barack Obama if the Florida and Michigan delegations were not FULLY seated. Horbal further acknowledged that she would urge women to write in Hillary Clinton’s name on the November Ballot.

Horbal, who formerly served as a member of the Democratic National Committee, has apparently garnished support from Geraldine Ferraro among other feminist leaders. Starting Friday, Horbal was to begin a nationwide petition drive to garner similar pledges from women across the U.S.

He LOST the support of the feminist lobby? I doubt he ever had it, sexists that they are. They can gripe that sexism lost the nomination for Hillary, but they’d be denying their own sexism.

Gotta love it when the platform of the DNC implodes from its own corruption.

[snip] Dean was answering a question about whether former Rep. Geraldine Ferraro’s (D-N.Y.) suggestion was accurate that sexism among journalists has hurt Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton’s campaign. He would not respond to Ferraro’s view that Reagan Democrats may have a hard time supporting Barack Obama because of racial resentment. [end]

Alas, not gonna happen. They will vote for McCain, however.

Yeah, that’s probably the move. And that may solidify some of the Demwit base. But it will also scare the living feces out of a lot more people.

” the majority female support that Clinton enjoyed just took one more step away from Obama”

Obama’s reaction: “Why won’t you vote for me, Sweetie? Don’t you like Black people?”
