Pyongyang, May 20 (KCNA) -- The U.S. and south Korean warmongers are staging joint military exercises, while separately escalating the war maneuvers. This comes under fire by a signed commentary of Minju Joson Tuesday. The situation on the Korean Peninsula is inching closer to the brink of war due to the U.S. and south Korean war-thirsty forces' frantic war exercises to invade the DPRK, the commentary says, and goes on: What merits attention is that the moves of the U.S. and south Korean bellicose forces to provoke a war against the DPRK have become evermore pronounced since Lee Myung Bak came to power.

What, mention of “running dog lackeys” or “Yankee Imperialists”. Granted, the writing is funnier that that of Pravda during the days of the Soviet Empire.

How primitive. Kim is wasting money and food-rations on his in-house propaganda.
NYT, PBS, Mother Jones, and various lib academics are incomparably better at it and they’ll do it for free or for a few pennies under the table.

I used to read Pravda for laughs. I still read Pravda for laughs. :-)

Nhan Dan (the Party Organ of the Vietnamese Commie Party) can be a real hoot at times. I recall a recent article about an official in Dien Bien Phu who lost his job and had to go to prison because he pilfered the rebar that was to be used for the 50th Anniversary statue commemorating the defeat of the French forces. His theft became apparent when the statue started to crumble less than two years after being completed. Also, I find the repetitious citation of meaningless stats to be hilarious.
