OK, question: What would be the all round weapon for self defense? Shotgun, M1 carbine, .45 carbine, 30-06 rifle ... if terrorists were to attack in small groups ... say a small town to just kill people and drive off .... I'm thinking of Red Dawn, The Postman, scenarios like that .....

Does this question fall under the purview of legitimate in this thread?
