Ok, so what are you going to vote 3rd Party and put the SOCIALIST in??

A vote for Obama is a vote for a socialist.
A vote for McCain is a vote for a socialist.

A vote for Alan Keyes is a vote for Reagan Conservatism.

1) The hallmark of socialism is collective ownership. There’s no collective ownership. It’s not socialism at all. Not even a little bit. There may be some elitism, but as you know, that’s fine with me. I don’t want crappy lawns and I don’t want to see my neighbor’s Camaro up on blocks in the driveway. If I want to live in a development where none of my neighbors want crappy lawns or to put their Camaro up on blocks, what’s wrong with that? No one made anyone buy a house in my neighborhood, and they are free to move any time they’d like. We’re just a collection of folks that like to see nice lawns.

Collective ownership:   check...   the HOA can place leans on you.

For most covenants there are duplicated town city county or state laws.   It is a matter of a group of  people wanting to impose their quicker civil justice upon the "commune"

It is communal living.    You sir live in an Ashram.   Granted, the lawns look nice and your internal gestapo keep it that way, but you are little more than a stepford wife my FRiend.

So can a bank. Or a car dealership. Or Sears. Are they socialist?

Yeah....see, that's what societies do. They form governments that pass laws that reflect the will of the people. If you don't like the laws, you're free to leave.
