He’s a Brit and knows nothing of our politics. Hillary will never take 2nd fiddle to Obama. Besides, he’d never want a schemer like the beast always looking to wrest power from the POTUS.

I doubt Hillary after dirtying up Obama is #1 on his list. And I also doubt Oprah would take a pay cut and give up her kingdom to become VP.

Obama would be crazy or a fool to pick Hillary as a running mate. What he needs is someone who can deliver the white male vote. Hillary can’t do that. Of course, I’m still not sure that Obama is the nominee. I won’t be convinced of that until the convention is over, and it hasn’t even begun yet.

Oprah would be an inspiring compelling choce but including her on the list at number 9 is just a silly little mind game to round out the list at 10.

Oprah has more adulation, public worship than most anyone and God knows, money. She's got her own media empire beholden only to herself. And then she's got the Oprah channel set to launch. FUGHETABOUIT.

And Obama would never risk his shot at the Presidency with some untried electoral gimmickry.

Oprah? She is NOT the person to be a heartbeat away from the presidency.

Obama would be wise to choose a person of a different race than his own.

Yes, I can “really” imagine Oprah being the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces in the absence of President Obama.

I suspect it will be Gov Strickland of Ohio.

Hillary is smart enough to know that Obama may still end up losing in the general election, which will also damage the political reputation of the final Democratic VP choice.

Let's start filling in B.O.'s cabinet:

Jesse Jackson - Sec. of State
Al Charleton - Sec. of Defense
Charles Rangel - Sec. of Treasury

and in the House

Maxine Waters - Speaker of the House

Obama’s life wouldn't be worth a nickel if it was his heartbeat between Hillary Clinton and the presidency. Delusional as he may be about some things, surely he must see that clearly enough

Carter still has four years left, why doesn’t BHO pick him?

Sometimes foreign newspapermen aren’t as shrewed observers as they think they are. There is a constitutional problem in running mates from the same sate as well.
