My name “peaked” in 1980, most likely due to Princess Diana’s popularity. People at work call me “Lady Di.” Dad named me after an old movie star, Diana Lynn. Mom was passed out cold from a forty hour labor, and when she awoke, the deed was done. ;)

My sister, however, cuts to the chase and calls me “Di-arrhea.” LOL!

Happy Mother’s Day, mware!

Names are so trendy. Frankly, I’m glad to see various derivatives of Brittany gone. Brad, too. A generation or two ago it was Barbara, Carol, Susan, Nancy, and I don’t see any of them on the top now.

It is interesting that at least most of the male names now are biblical, and several historical. Your name may see a comeback yet!
