Three years ago, Abdullah Saleh al-Ajmi, a Kuwaiti soldier who deserted to fight in Afghanistan alongside the Taliban, sat in a detention cell at the U.S. naval base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, while lawyers argued whether he was an "enemy combatant."
Last week, a Dubai-based television channel reported that al-Ajmi was killed carrying out a homicide bombing in Mosul, Iraq.

I was taken to task recently for “putting myself above the Party”. I honestly think people dont really know what a liberal McCain is..
As I have said before, put all the opponents of Gitmo in a room with bombs strapped to them. Let the detainees into the room. Problem solved.
Better yet, let the Gitmo decriers take the detainees into their homes..
Lawyers are the bane of our modern day military..
Yet another reason why all of these detainees should have been executed after any and all information was extracted from them... by any means needed, especially if it involves torture.
The families of the victims of these released terrorists should sue all the lawyers and legal groups who got the bastards released.
Now that would be a PR agent’s dream case.
