Hmmm. If you're on a dynamic-assigned (DHCP) cable or DSL line, you might be able to get a fresh external IP address by cycling power on your modem/router, with a 30-second delay while off, so that you get assigned a fresh IP address. Works some of the time, depending on whether the head-end server keeps a table of last-used addresses and "helpfully" gives you your old one back. That's pretty much grasping at straws, though.
