Gardening is either in your blood or it isn’t. You can always tell because the people who lean that way can’t stand it when the soil starts warming up and smelling good—they are compelled to plant! Guess it goes back to Cain and Abel, although my family has leanings toward animals and earth. :)

Oh I forgot, Dell's sister was my Grandmother. My Grandmother was a Pastry Chef in San Fransisco. My Mother made potato based dough nuts that won a Blue Ribbon in a local county fair N.C. when we lived there.

And now I make all the homemade bread and soups we can eat. Good stuff!

Strange! Bad Ass Marine turned gardener, cook and baker! LOL
