Please feel free to copy this letter and send it in with your POSTAGE PAID envelope to the RNC
David
I don’t know what you are crying about or what your problem with David is. If it is him not supporting Mc Cain, you solved your own problem. As you so eloquently stated, the majority of GOP voters nominated Mc Cain. Let them elect him. Problem solved.
More than a few of the new signups are defending the perverts and child molestors in Texas.
I gurantee you that there is going to be a lot of weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth after the first Tuesday in November of ‘08.
Most, if not all, of the folks on this thread won’t vote for Senator McCain, no matter what.
Whether or not I will vote for McCain depends on who he picks as a running mate. If he doesn’t pick a TRUE conservative running mate, it shows conservatives that he isn’t even TRYING to reach out to them, as he promised at C-PAC, so then I’ll vote 3rd party.
I was watching FoxNews Sunday, and a few names mentioned were Pawlenty, who is way too liberal for me, and Charlie Crist, who is EXTREMELY liberal, and an awful man, and I can tell you why, if you’re interested.
But I was happy to hear that Rob Portman’s name was mentioned, who is conservative, and a nice pro-family guy.
I also really like Gov. Bobby Jindal and Sen. John Thune, and my favorite would be DUNCAN HUNTER (but I don’t think McCain would pick him).
Everytime I receive a solicitation from the RNC I run off another copy of this...

Then send it off in their postage-paid self-addressed envelope.
You know full well that David put more work into supporting a conservative candidate (Duncan Hunter) than most other Freepers - myself included. I agree with David that supporting McCain now would send the wrong message to the RNC and give them the idea that they can ignore conservatives with impunity. Its going to be a tough election season but if we give into the party elites then this will be the end of conservatism in the Republican Party.
ROFL!! You’re joking right? You really oughta check someone’s posts in forum before going off half-cocked like that.
Got another copy? I’m getting a “File is damaged and can not be repaired” message.
You are right, but not from me.I dont vote for liberals in either party.
Nor do I.
I just checked the link.. still works fine.. it is a PDF file.. so likely your error message is coming from your ADOBE reader... hope this helps
David
Thanks & Bump. It works now, must have been something in the cache.
Diane, you are new here. You should not make statements until you KNOW things.
GOPDiane,
I can't let your "conclusion" go unchallenged.... your assertion that those of us who DO NOT support McCain, do not do so because our candidate of choice (which does vary here in FR) did not win.....
If you take the time to read our posts over the past few years you will see that many of us here on FR did not agree on who the BEST candidate was.... however a great majority of us DO agree that McCain is NOT even on our "list" of acceptable nomminees.... the only reason McCain got the most votes was because the conservative base was split on our FIRST choice... consequently our LAST choice ended up getting the monination... this IS a problem, admitedly.. but one that CAN be fixed if Senator McCain chooses to do so...
FReegards,
David
I remember how bad it was for the military when bubba was CIC - and that was BEFORE the war with troops in harms way.
Now I have more family in uniform - in some of the most dangerous areas of the WOT - hardly a day goes by when not in a firefight with the Taliban. I fear for them if the Rats get in.
As it is, I believe that there would be little fighting by now were it not for the enemy aiders and abettors in Washington urging them to just keep up the violence to help them get elected and then we'll turn everything back to them.
I hope the egotistical JERKS that don't understand how vital it is to do everything possible - including voting - to keep these Marxists out of the WH - get the picture in time.
I am not as concerned about WHO sits in the whitehouse as I am about WHO sits in congress.... the POTUS can’t do ANYTHING unless congress appropriates the $$$$...... We need to collectively support EVERY conservative running for EVERY House/Senate seat... period... .but not a PENNY to the RNC this cycle... IMHO
Using the envelope gives me a moments satisfaction, as I said.
BS! The GOP is responsible for McManiac being where he is. If you don’t think they did everything they could to eliminate his competitors, and schmooze other party loyalists to support him, I’ve got some oceanfront property in Az. for you.
Listen, come here and ask us to vote for him, fine. But, please, do not come here and give us that “if you don’t vote for him, you’re putting O or H in office” crap. That’s bull, and you know it.
Take your DU/kindergarten tactics to alt.politics.republican, I’m sure they’re buying bull manure right about now.
If you want us who disdain the man to vote for him, you’re gonna need to get him to make us some promises. Otherwise, he’s in for a shellacking that’ll make ‘06 look like a squeeker.

Hey, PM, somehow I missed that post, thanks for the link.

It’s better if you write them a check of $.99. It stands out, big time.
