There was a lot more support for the warrant than just anonymous phone call.
Since I know you've read that affidavit and already knew that, it makes me suspect you have an ulterior motive.

The Judge in the Custody Hearing has made a determination that their is SUFFICIENT EVIDENCE to support the charges of ABUSE, and that the CHILDREN were duly removed from the compound and will not be returned.
Oh that is true. The caller had detail that didn’t come out of the blue (supposedly)
But then in the same vein, there are few varied surnames in the polygamist world. Especially the fLDS one.
But, if for example, I wanted to make a prank call about the UAB (another Utah polygamist group), I know that Jenson and Allred are common names in that group. So I call and whisper, “my name is Elizabeth Allred, and my husbands name is Richard...” there is a good chance that there indeed is a young girl named Elizabeth Allred and a man named Richard Allred in that particular group.
Then we have the added possibility that there have been news article about this particular Dale Barlow and his penchant for young brides. It wouldn’t be hard to make up the name “Sarah” and make a hoax call similar to the one above, using information gleaned from a newspaper.
There are so many possibilities, including one where a real live girl makes the call and dissappears....or perhaps she is indeed under CPS wing and they know exactly who she is but are not telling for some reason, maybe so her sister or mother isn’t harmed or something. It will all come out eventually.

Well, my mother married my father when she was 15 and he was 25. She was madly in love for 4 years and just plain old mad the rest of her life. 15 is still a child and too young to make a determination about the rest of their life or if they want to be a sex toy or breeding machine for some old or young man.
From what I understand, this woman is NOT suspected of being the original caller, but being a subsequent caller claiming to be “Sarah’s” twin sister.
She could have gotten quite a few details of the phone call from news accounts.
