Whenever I play, I just set the effect on space and groove like Wakeman.

(He was shouting 'Allah!' but I didn't hear that. It just sounded like a lot of crap to me.)

God that must take lots of batteries.

Much faster.

Here's my Yamaha...Much faster. That's not fair; I'm 10 years out of practice. Give me about six months of scale exercises and I'll keep up with you.
BTW, have you ever heard my John Ulrich story?

I guarantee you would be faster on your Yamaha than I on mine.
I have a feeling we are going to hear a John Ultrich story.

Do you know who John Ulrich is? Because if you don’t, the story isn’t very interesting.

Now...Peavy amp and speakers?When I was in high school, I was in a pretty good rock band. We played at high school and junior high dances.
I haven't performed at any gigs since I became an adult, a long, long time ago, so the Peavy would be a little premature. Maybe in a couple years. Right now I want faithful sound production, so I bought a pair of these sweet babies:

HS Yamaha 50M Professional Studio Monitors
* 5" White polypropylene cone
* ¾" Dome tweeter
* 70-watt biamplified power
* XLR and ¼" connectors
* Room control and frequency response switches

That works...great!
Love your tagline.
You’re a good man.
Looking forward to the day that you have Peavy in your home.
BTW...I’m a tad biased.
I’m from the Peavy’s hometown, know the story about the garage, and know what’s happened since.
They went to my home church in addition to having the only music store in town.
My sister was friends with the late Melia.

Peavy is a good amp.
I grew up a few miles from Fullerton, CA, where Leo Fender built his guitars, and my (future) wife worked for Yamaha in Buena Park.
Small world.

Does it require one of those flux capacitor thingies?

My Yamaha surround sound system was purchased through an employee at that Buena Park location you are talking about.
SMALL WORLD INDEED!

Small world, indeed.
Especially since I’m from a small town in Mississippi.
My sister had a Yamaha keyboard, and absolutely loved it.
I hope you enjoy yours as much as she did hers.
