Barack Obama wants America to believe that he went to the Trinity United Church of Christ for twenty years, and while he found the good Rev. Dr. Jeremiah Wright to be an occasionally fierce critic of American domestic and foreign policy and heard him make remarks that could be considered controversial, he never heard him make them in the church or in private conversation with him...

So how can we trust this guy to pick a good cabinet, or nominate good people for the supreme court? If had twenty years to get to know Wright, and he still wasn't able to figure out that the guy is a blathering racist, how can he expect us to trust him to choose good people to be part of a presidential administration? He's obviously not a good judge of character.

It appears the emperors new clothes are revealing him to be what some off us suspected but could not prove. Just another whitey hating race bater. I don’t see how he could have sat through twenty years of that tripe if he did not agree totally with it His denials just don’t pass the smell test.

Many people believed Obama when he said this about the Iraq war, shortly after the Democrat convention in 2004:
"The failure of the Iraqi state would be a disaster," he said at a lunch sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor, according to an audiotape of the session. "It would dishonor the 900-plus men and women who have already died. . . . It would be a betrayal of the promise that we made to the Iraqi people, and it would be hugely destabilizing from a national security perspective."

No speech Obama gives can change the fact he knowingly and willingly associated himself for 20 years with someone who has openly expressed his hatred for America along with racist remarks.
