It was nasty this year. Usually we have a mid-winter thaw that melts all the snow away before we get dumped on again. This year the thaw ended before the snow had finished melting so we had snow-thick ice-snow. Made driving fun.

End of the first week in April: Easter now a week past.
Up in west PA east of Pittsburgh for a power plant job for a little while, couple of days of rain last week.
There are STILL packs of ice and snow in the corners of the shopping mall parking lots from the winter where the snow had been pushed off into piles......
