Welcome to FREE REPUBLIC Rest Area for the DOOMED!
Sorry we have only a two seater! Sexes are clearly marked.

A little "Poblachd Saorsa," (in English, "Free Republic") the best whisky straight from The Official Distillery of the Undead ThreadTM, anyone? I'm doing my taxes. How many bottles do we have?

"How many bottles do we have?" Only ten thousand in the initial allotment. I think there may have some breakage, (of the empties, relax!)
Of course, we recycle, so the number of bottles is not a problem. There will always be sufficient quantity.
Also, don't worry about whether the distillery has the capacity to keep up with our demand. The specifications were drawn up by a Scottish Engineer.

In that case just give me the hose leading to the main tank.
I hate the IRS with the intensity of a thousand burning suns. Their rules Make. No. Sense.
Aaa-u-u-ugh!

Why aren’t you using TurboTax?

I am. They keep on telling me I can't do things I have always done because I am now married. And it is costing me a chunk of change.
I have run smack dab in that "Marriage Penalty" thing that they supposedly did away with.

Well, when I said TurboTax, I was actually speaking generically. Would it be practical to acquire a different tax preparation program?
H & R Block puts out one called “TaxCut”.
It’s either that or talk to Tax-Chick, or another professional.
I know you got married recently, but was it in the last calendar year? My memory is hazy about it. Must have been because of the open bar.

'Face, just saw a line on Slashdot that made me think of you: "Anything that is good and useful is made of chocolate."
Don't think that holds for good Scots whisky, though...

Good morning, Undead FRiends, and all the catz patiently waiting for the reptile lights to be turned on so they can stalk ...
We sure are having problems with our Zot this month! And we’ve given up wine to pay Anoreth’s auto insurance. This is tough!

Good morning.
Put the zot in the recharger, that should work.

James has brought me a plush butterfly and a stick. How that will help FR’s programming, I don’t know.
It rained here overnight, but fortunately not into the window that was left open. Lots of birds out eating worms this morning; Shannon is excited.

Good Morning!
A lot of yapping about rain here, but nary a drop hit the ground.

I just went out to get some things out of the car. 40-ish and drizzling. WHERE’S MY GLOBAL WARMING!?!
Doesn’t look there will be a sunbeam for the catz today. They’re offended already.

"Doesnt look there will be a sunbeam for the catz today. Theyre offended already." Typical morning, then. Maybe you need another basking lamp, for your supposedly warm-blooded pets.
