I finally got all the vegetables ready for supper, and now I’m going to put on shorts and lots of suncreen and head out for yardwork. I should have got my sun hat out before I put Vlad to bed, though. I’ll have to wear a ball cap.

"And how much Yeagermeister have you had for stomach aliments?" Well, you know, it is the alimentary canal.
Or were you thinking it should be spelled alements?

Nice hat. I couldn’t find one - they’re probably all in the van - so I just sweated. Tomorrow I’ll have my hat out!

I have a collection of hats, but some of them are still packed. I’d be happy to lend you one. ;o]

I could have gone out to the van :-). Storms moving in to rain on our landscaping efforts, I hope. We’re going to Monroe to the Target and Payless Shoes. Gotta get my campaign button for my noodle County Commissioner candidate!

Wrong answer. May is Thursday. That’s not a week away.
You have to think “future” when this far into a month. As you get older, you’ll understand the concept, I’m sure.

I don’t even want to watch the weather report. The water is up the glass in the barometer, and that’s all the “warning” I need for a Low Front.
It means I’ll have to double up on the pain killer tonight. *sigh* Otherwise, I won’t be able to stand up straight when I get out of bed.

I can’t believe I got involved in a James Bond movie! It’s been a LOOOONG time since I saw one!
And since it will be over shortly, so will I. G’night all!
See you tomorrow!

Welcome home, sion! (Have you thought of where the new digs might be?) Thanks, 'Face! Just got home a bit ago and am now unpacked. Overall a good trip home, except for the cellphone going haywire when I tried to turn it on in Cleveland. It would boot up, sit there for a few seconds, and suddenly turn off. I was able to ascertain that the SIM card had failed (there went the phonebook!). Fortunately they still have payphones so I could call LoM and apprise her of the situation.
On the way home we bought a new SIM card, but it wasn't until after I got home to find the phone was still shutting off I learned the rest of it.
I had installed (and activated -- oops) a SIM-card change alarm utility. If the SIM card is swapped for any that aren't on the list I enter into the utility, it can send a text message (with the new phone#) to another mobile, in this case LoM's.
There is also an option to turn the mobile off and that was also set! Fortunately, if you know what you are doing, it stays on long enough to turn that option off.
Whew.
And yes, I have some possible new homes in mind for next month.
