I was going to vacuum, but then I remembered I left the thing in the truck when I brought it back from my friend’s house. His mother wanted to vacuum her room, so I loaned her my vacuum...along with my Swiffer Wet-Jet. (The rest of the house is all tile.)
I don’t feel like going anywhere, but it looks like I’ll have to at least go out to the truck. If I’m going that far, I may as well get in it and go check my mail. *sigh*
The nausea is back with a vengeance. Maybe I’ll just wait and see how I feel.

Maybe you should take some Pepto-Bismol. That should help, unless it comes back up. Then you'll just have pink barf.

I threw up Pepto when I was a kid, and can’t bear to even be in the same room with a bottle of the stuff.
Beer helps, but I would have to go out to buy some, and I’m not sure I feel up to it. Yet.
Maybe I’ll lie down again in a while.

Murphy sez yull be taxiing on the runway when flights are suspended due to thunderstorms... Yah, probably so. But right now, two hours before departure, it's bright sun (too bright, and I didn't bring my sunglasses) and warm out. And not much on the weather radar though I see something that looks like it has potential to change fast.
DIdn't expect to be on from the aiRport but fortunately T-Mobile has the WiFi franchise here. Just one more reason to prefer BWI over DCA or IAD.

I’ve all but sworn off alcohol for now because it makes me nasty. Usually, carbonated stuff helps, in low doses.

I don’t do carbonated drinks. They are all too sweet, even if they’re sweetened with something besides sugar.
The only thing I’ll drink that is carbonated is beer. The dryer, the better.

No soda here, just drinking Snapple iced tea. Dry stuff just makes me sick.

Thanks, 'Face! Yes it was, and Bob picked a really great restaurant (Timbuktu) with good food and good prices.
I was able to have a crabcake as LoM recommended, but it's just way too rich for me. My stomach can't handle too much of that.

It's a thick brown liqueur from Germany that will settle your stomach in a heartbeat. A little dab will do ya!

Ah. I googled “Jägermeister” but the site was too heavy on scripts and flash, I didn’t bother delving in.

Weather radar shows something that that could be thunderstorms forming, crossing from WV into VA, but at current speed of travel it’s some 8 hours away.
