I sister had a map on the wall so their kids could see where their dad was. He would go anywhere in the world that US had a foreign base with a medical unit. Green was where is he now and red was where he has been.

Heh. For me a map like that would start looking like a pincushion. I just got a (likely) trip to Pittsburgh added to my spring travel calendar, joining California week after next, Berlin early June and Salt Lake City late June. (And nothing after that until September.)

I may be making my way up through the "elite" rankings slowly, with my budget fares often enough earning only 50% of the miles actually traveled, but it looks like it's first-class upgrades all the way home tomorrow.

I hope it's so... there'll be enough room to open up and work on the laptop. Can't do that in coach.

Well, there is that. Though I have to say that right now I'm not enamored of getting on a plane for a vacation -- though we are looking at vacations where I have to get on a plane anyway, and we can buy LoM's tickets with my miles.

Weird. Looked up the forecast for home: Current 36F, High 62F, Low 49F. That doesn't look like a forecast one could trust.

We’re supposed to have sunny skies today, but it’s still pretty hazy. We still have a few days of winter to use up before summer is here officially!

We have some right now, but it looks like more clouds moving in from the north. Tom was working on clearing the ground for a new flowerbed, but he wore out. “This is too heavy!” I’ll work on it later, maybe; I need to get the salad for supper ready first.
