“I am no “end of the world nut”, but I find Obama to be a great candidate for being compared to the bible’s description of the anti-christ.”

Yes you are. You just don’t recognize it yet.

Although your name suggests that “the truth is out there”, I know where you’re coming from. Admittedly the thought crossed my mind once watching one of his speeches way late at night. But, my logical side tells me I’m just being weird. But, say he was a Muslim and has a special interest in Muslim philosophy - that would unite in a weird way the world. Note to self - if asked to get a chip implant if Heaven forbid Obama is prez - Just say no!

Of all the strange "crimes" that human beings have legislated out of nothing, "blasphemy" is the most amazing - with "obscenity" and "indecent exposure" fighting it out for the second and third place.

Well, let's see if the FReeper "Bigot Patrol" is consistent on this post.

Somebody mentions that the Mormon Jesus is the spirit brother of Satan from "pre-existent times" (mainstream LDS doctrine, BTW), & they go nuts with wrath & indignation over truth bubbling up to the surface. But Fox_Mulder posts something that mentions one of the leading POTUS candidates is conjectured-to-possibly-maybe-well-who-knows? has a certain anti-father-anti-son like relationship & you get what?

You get jokes. You get a guffaw or two. You get some mild putdowns. And you get a yawn or two. Otherwise, no (or few...who knows what somebody might post>) similar wrath & indignation posts that a leading POTUS candidate is being religiously smeared.

(Which shows that these FReeper patrol officers aren't really the ultimate defenders of "threats of bigotry," after all...Maybe, just maybe, it only has to do with whether the target has a "D" by their name or an "R"--and whether they got gored by supporting the certain "R"...Can you say two-minded, double-standard, 2-faced & inconsistent?)

I was watching Obama talk last night, and the more I watched him, the more creepier he looked. His ears looked pointy, and his chin looked straight and pointy. His eyes were starting too look gloomy and tired. I swear, it looked like he was morphing into some kind of demon.

I was wondering yesterday.

On the (off) chance Obama might actually have America’s best interests in mind (yes I know, that’s not really evident) - there is the small possibility an Obama presidency could make Russia or China more a focus of the fundies - provided our own , ahem, governmental agencies have adequately ramped up our ability to enact change.

Or he’s the anti-Christ. One of those.

Obama says he wants to “create a kingdom right here on earth.” We know about Obama’s leftist, socialist church. I wonder about the eschatology of his Chicago pastor and church.

The Amillennial or Postmillennial (”Kingdom now”) eschatology is made to order for antichrist. Instead of looking for the second coming of Christ, who will, indeed, bring with him “a kingdom right here on earth” (the Millennial, Rev. 20), these types of eschatology apply Christ’s future kingdom to the here and now.

Amillennialism played a huge role during the middle ages. The eschatology of the RCC is Amillennial. They ruled Europe for a thousand years in “a kingdom right here on earth.”

Where did Obama get his “create a kingdom right here on earth” from? Out of thin air? I doubt it. Does anybody know the eschatology of his Chicago pastor and church?

If this is Obama’s eschatolgy, he is a most dangerous individual.

Let’s see how he does with negotiations with Taliban and Alqaida. Then we’ll decide if he is qualified for anti-christ.

Doesn’t it seem odd that John McCain of all people, someone the right absolutely hates and has no chance of winning just happened to wind up at the top this election cycle? Everyone is scratching their heads over this one. I believe God is putting His plan in action.

Reagan won 525 Electoral Votes and was a great speaker. I think Reagan would have more claim to anti-christ, according to the dopey definition.
