I am suffering from the degeneration of the lower 4 discs in my back. Three are gone completely and the 4th is almost gone. Surgery is out of the question and my heart disease precludes any exercise. My only relief is percocet.

Currently I take a 1/2 pill in the AM 2-4 times a week to help me get loose and get a shower. But I find the frequency is increasing and I just know I will be up to two-half pills a day or at least a 1/2 pill daily pretty soon.

I have reconciled myself to the realization that I will need more and more relief as time goes on. I also have realized that when I can no longer take the pain, I will seek the ultimate relief and save my family the costs of hospitalization.

For those of you who have not suffered excruciating, fainting pain, I understand what Rush suffers.

I only hope I am somewhere near Mr. Maher so I can have him join me in my trip!
