REF Prev Threads: JUST SAY NO - To John McCain PART I
JUST SAY NO - To John McCain PART II (How the left will destroy John McCain..... MUST READ)
Okay.. here is MY two cents worth.... I have heard some chatter about a THIRD party push to offset the McCain factor.. I SAY NO !! and here is why....
I feel that the solution to the McCain factor is for CONSERVATIVES TO SUPPORT THE HILDABEAST OR OBAMA !! -- while at the same time PUSHING HARD to take back the House/Senate... what will happen is this.. we will send the message LOUD/CLEAR that our party is NOT DEAD -- but in serious need of some TOUGH LOVE !! What I would LOVE to see is a lopsided victory for the HildaBeast or Obama as we take over control of congress to keep said President in check.. IF we choose the THIRD PARTY option we will NOT be able to get the MAJORITIES we need in congress to keep the President in check.. this is VITAL to our National Security and keeps the TWO-PARTY system in play.. which is ABSOLUTELY VITAL to getting anything done in CONGRESS !!
Passing it on..
TOWARD VICTORY
Thanks so much for your personal opinion.
my pleasure

You've lost it, Dave. Take me off your ping list.
And they will outlast the Republican party.
Semper Fidelis
I will continue to support a man who has a proven record of conservative sucess.
How is Obama better than McCain in voters' eyes? Unlike McCain's wife Cindy who is unfit for First Lady, Obama's wife appears dignified and intelligent. Unlike the nasty, creepy, and mentally unstable McCain, Obama is charming, pleasant, in control of his emotions, and appears normal. Unlike McCain with his scandals, Obama has no history of adultery or mistreatment of his wife. Unlike short McCain with lumps on his face that might indicate steroid use or serious illness, Obama looks healthy and pleasant and is much taller. While these might be minor point in choosing POTUS, many voters are influenced by them.
Thus, an unacceptable McCain will no doubt send a segment of Republicans to Obama. I am still hoping that McCain will not be the nominee but the chances are slim.
My FRiend.. you missed the point.. IMHO if we allow McCain to lose by a narrow margin our party IS DEAD... period... however if he loses by a HUGE margin and we take control of congress the RNC/GOP will get the message....
You’ve lost it, Dave.
Well I think you first have to have it before you can lose it........
Yep FR now the supporters of Hillary and Obama..... lol.
I agree but the PARTY is not going away easily.. creating a THIRD party only splits the vote making it even easier for the left to take control without a majority
BTTT
I disagree with you on this one David. The Republican Party is moving inexoribly toward the left and we need to create an alternative. There are enough conservatives unhappy this year that we could mount a credible third party challenge if we could recruit the right candidate. I agree that we should continue to support conservative Republican Congressmen and Senators (maybe we can eventually talk them into switching parties if we can get a conservative third party established). However, we need to start the process of creating a serious conservative alternative to the Republican Party.
No but you should be able to smell and see the California Republican Party from where you are.
About ten years ago the California Republican Party decided that the path to success was to be less "divisive." (You could not read a "news"paper without seeing Republican and divisive as one.) Prominent national Republicans like Jack Kemp, Bill Bennett, and Jeb Bush helped the effort by spreading the lie that Prop 187 had damaged the Party.
Since then there have been, I believe, three Republicans elected to statewide offices including "star power" Schwarzenkennedy.
Thus is the reason I believe that the Party is run by Democrat moles.
You are a sick puppy.
The swelling on McCain's face is from cancer surgery in 2002.
Obama is the one who has abused drugs.
If things get bad enough - as I pointed out in post 7, political direction is no longer decided by votes and courts. In that event my ideals triumph without much risk of being effectively countered by the left. And the left is well aware of this. What do you think prompted the Haditha etc... prosecutions of our troops in the middle east? Those dog and pony shows aren't just to win votes from Berkeley moonbats. It is (im my estimation) an ill conceived attempt to counter the left in America's mortal weakness.
Studies have shown that many people do make choices on trivial criteria whether you like it or not.
The swelling has been there since he had the surgery.
He has made clear that he gets checked every three months.
A lot fewer people say they would definitely vote against McCain than said that about the very healthy looking Romney. Tells you something about how concerned people are with the swelling on his face.
McCain as compared to Obama, does look creepy, weird, unstable. McCain certainly is nasty and not the brightest.
