I will not support evil whether there's an (R) or a (D) after the candidate.

You've lost it, Dave. Take me off your ping list.

If the Republican party refuses to be conservative there is no reason to preserve it. Period. Conservative ideals were around before there was a Republican party.

And they will outlast the Republican party.

If McCain is nominated it shows we no longer have a two party system and the GOP can show anyone down our throats. McCain is like Hillary and Obama.

How is Obama better than McCain in voters' eyes? Unlike McCain's wife Cindy who is unfit for First Lady, Obama's wife appears dignified and intelligent. Unlike the nasty, creepy, and mentally unstable McCain, Obama is charming, pleasant, in control of his emotions, and appears normal. Unlike McCain with his scandals, Obama has no history of adultery or mistreatment of his wife. Unlike short McCain with lumps on his face that might indicate steroid use or serious illness, Obama looks healthy and pleasant and is much taller. While these might be minor point in choosing POTUS, many voters are influenced by them.

Thus, an unacceptable McCain will no doubt send a segment of Republicans to Obama. I am still hoping that McCain will not be the nominee but the chances are slim.

I disagree with you on this one David. The Republican Party is moving inexoribly toward the left and we need to create an alternative. There are enough conservatives unhappy this year that we could mount a credible third party challenge if we could recruit the right candidate. I agree that we should continue to support conservative Republican Congressmen and Senators (maybe we can eventually talk them into switching parties if we can get a conservative third party established). However, we need to start the process of creating a serious conservative alternative to the Republican Party.

Republican Party is NOT dead, not at the end.

No but you should be able to smell and see the California Republican Party from where you are.

About ten years ago the California Republican Party decided that the path to success was to be less "divisive." (You could not read a "news"paper without seeing Republican and divisive as one.) Prominent national Republicans like Jack Kemp, Bill Bennett, and Jeb Bush helped the effort by spreading the lie that Prop 187 had damaged the Party.

Since then there have been, I believe, three Republicans elected to statewide offices including "star power" Schwarzenkennedy.

Thus is the reason I believe that the Party is run by Democrat moles.

Clinton’s primary objective will be to cement her power so that no conservative idea will ever see the light of day ever again.

Are you thinking that we can recover from a Clinton presidency in 2012 or 2016? WRONG.

>>> >>>> >>>>> >>>>>>>

She will push for amnesty and thus create 20-30 million new democrat voters.

She will appoint liberal judges that cannot be removed by an election cycle; and they serve as an additional law making branch for the liberals.

She will enact the Fairness Doctrine to silence dissenting conservative voices. Expect some controls on the internet as well.

She will use her influence in the MSM to ridicule anything conservative.

She will use FBI files to embarass anyone who challenges her. She’s done it before and will do it again.

She will restrict homeschooling and force children into the public school system of indoctrination. With no threat of vouchers, homeschoolers or other kinds of accountability, public “educators” will be free to make our children into good little democrat-youths.

She will enact strict gun laws, thus eliminating any chance of an armed revolt against the tyranny she intends to produce.

And her socialism programs will be difficult to reverse. How do you undo socialized medicine; we haven’t been able to reverse socialized retirement.

And Clintons don’t believe that they have to adhere to the Constitution; only when it can be interpretted to their benefit.

>>>

A Clinton presidency will be the death of American conservatism.

Forever.

And what happens if we do not take the House and/or the Senate and the Democrats have full power?

Gay marriage, liberal Supreme Court, partial birth abortions galore, condom instructions in kindergarten, universal health care, John Edwards as Attorney General promoting open season on doctors, a military that looks like the Netherlands with gays galore and a union, Bill Clinton touring the world giving zipper lessons, only unisex public restrooms allowed, our troops out of Afghanistan and Iraq, Guantanamo closed and the prisoners free to wander at will to sue each one of us for false imprisonment—for starters. Extremely high taxes and government control of what we are allowed to eat and drink.

Eventually Sharia law after friendly conversations with Ahmahdinejad, Hamas and others fail and our daughters and grandaughters losing all rights as women and being treated as less than a goat.

I’m 74 so I don’t have that many years ahead of me but this is not what I want to leave to my children and grandchildren or anyone else’s.

.....CONSERVATIVES TO SUPPORT THE HILDABEAST OR OBAMA

I would love to explain to you how voting for a third party conservative would accomplish the same as what you propose, but I don't think you'd get it. While my vote will not get a conservative elected, it will send a message, and it will be true to my beliefs.

Please remove me from your ping list.

Thanks, and good luck to you.
