I don't know that they were all in it it together. A couple of the parties may have been. But each individually, supported a McCain victory for different reasons.

A month ago we were all talking about a brokered convention. And now, that quickly, it's all been decided.

This is the most futile race I can recall, with the exception of the Dole campaign (Yes, I know Dole was more conservative than McCain, but he just didn't seem to have much chance of winning).
