You mightve seen my earlier post detailing the amazing day we had delivering our petition to the FOX building in New York demanding that Bill OReilly apologize to the homeless veterans he denied and dismissed. Now you can see how it all went down.
We had the great fortune of having Dan Lohaus director of the powerful documentary When I Came Home, which chronicles the struggles of a homeless Iraq veteran filming the event today along with field producer.
Fox Attacks website and posting Media Matters articles?
Dude, your on the wrong website
BARF ALERT or maybe a ZOT.
Not at all...:)
Regardless of where it’s posted, it’s still an interetsting video, no? :)
not really
Point is ... if O’Rielly said what they claimed he said, don’t you think he’d owe them an apology? Really?
I don’t think so. What he said was that Edwards figures were wrong both on homeless vets and monies available to vets.
He said that there were millions of dollars available to take care of veterans.
Oreilly said what is true. Some people just don’t like hearing the truth.
And the people in the video are not themselves homeless vets as far as I can see.
Just a stunt. But O'Reilly will pump up his viewership a few more points by publicizing it.
Excuse me but OReilly neither denied, attacked nor dismissed homeless veterans. He said THE OVERWHELMING MAJORITY are homeless for the same reason others are homeless. That is addiction or psychological problems. Liberals are disgracefully exploiting homeless veterans as a tool to attack the Bush economy and the Military. The fact is that there are programs in place to help Homeless Vets and as recently as last night said he would personally drive any Vet to the facility if he were asked. Furthermore, who cares about a collection of signatures with as pitifully inadequate listening and comprehension skills as you.
You Sir are a PIN HEAD
And some people (usually democrats) will purposefully distort the truth to suit their particular agenda of the day.
The enemy of my O’Reilly is my friend.
O’Reilly makes my skin crawl. yuck!
O’Reilly didn’t disparage any vet. He was saying that John Edwards was totally wrong by saying there were 85 gazillion homeless vets. He was challenging Edwards, that staunch supporter of the military! /s
“Point is ... if ORielly said”
Point is...if pig could fly. BOR said homelessness is due to substance abuse and drugs and mental disease in vets and others. It is not the economy as your friend Edwards was claiming.
NO! end of story!
The homeless are all victims of economic injustice!
How dare someone confront that lie with the truth!
Sounds like your auditioning as a writer for Fox Attacks.Com.
No, not at all because it has absolutely nothing to do with what O'Reilley said. It's pure propaganda.
And, is the guy in the hat with the heavy accent an American veteran? I'm just wondering.
You left out a word
Besides, every panhandler I’ve ever encountered has claimed to be a “veteran.”
