Also, Bill Clinton seems to have used his influence to aid a mining executive by praising a central Asian dictator (contrary to U.S. policy) and in return received a 31 million dollar donation for his foundation. That's pretty sleazy. It also makes Hillary Clinton the latest in a long line of female politicians hurt by their husbands' business dealings.

Slick Willy do something sleazy???....nah, can’t be true. (smirk) His whole political career is signified by sleaziness...with the help of a worshipping press to cover up his misdeeds. Now it seems that Big Media has found a new super lib with a lot less sleaze, Obama. Finally Big Lib Media might get around to examining Clinton’s trail of ooze. But I doubt it. It would reflect on their malfeasance.

How do you come to the conclusion that BC sold nuclear secrets? He sold is influence to a guy so the guy could mine Uranium in a former Soviet state.

It should read:
He sold his influence to a guy so the guy could mine Uranium in a former Soviet state.

This is nuts.
Assuming the worst - that President Clinton used his influence to get the introduction in Kazakhstan so this particular donor got the contract - it is a bipartisan effort to reach out to Kazakhstan since they are extremely strategic. President Bush has certainly done the same thing and likely had something to do with President Clinton’s trip.
With their oil and uranium and their strategic position both of the last two administrations feel they want them on our side - much like Pakistan and various other not-nice countries we reach out to.
Now maybe President Clinton did try to get some gravy for a buddy - that wouldn’t be surprising but to position this as him selling nuclear secrets for a relatively piddling amount of money is silly and not even a good strategic lie.

Oh, I just realized that the thread title isn’t anything like the article title.

You don't remember that China couldn't launch a two-stage rocket, and the Secretary of State and Pentagon wouldn't okay allowing Loran to help them solve the problem?
You don't remember Clinton personally signing an executive order moving the power from the Secretary of State's office to the Secretary of Commerce's Office (Ron Brown) to get the job done.
You don't remember Ron Brown mysterious dead in a military C-135 tanker? You don't remember the missing hard-drive from our nuclear research center, and Mr Lee?

What nuclear secrets is he supposed to have sold? This looks more like influence peddling to me.

None of the articles you present have any inkling of the sale of nuclear secrets. Now lets say lessening controls over who gets access to the Los Alamos nuclear laboratory or moving from the Department of Defense to Ron Brown’s Commerce Department the sale to other countries of sensitive US ballistic missile technology. You might have a point there.

The article you posted doesn’t have anything to do with Bill Clinton selling nuclear technology.
