The chicom leaders are every bit as evil as the terrorists. Looks like 4 more years of sucking up to communists as they fleece us.

John McCain is not normal and therefore he would do more harm than any other candidate.

“You don’t limit evil by allowing it to fester and grow incrementally year after year.”

So what is your PRACTICAL suggestion?

Make it easy for McCain to give tax dollars to experiment with human embryos, grant amnesty, let the U.N. control us and the ICC to judge Americans, raise our taxes, pick “moderate” judges, etc.

We don’t have time for a 3rd party. In the next few years there will be at least two openings for SCOTUS justices and terrorists are crossing our borders NOW.

“I am not really for any of the GOP that are now running, but I see McCain as being the worst of those currently on the GOP ticket.”

I figure even if we don’t want to support the other candidates, we can still let the country know about McCain so they will be watching him IF he becomes president (which I doubt).

If he runs, I believe it will be either Hillary or Obama, because many conservatives will stay home or vote 3rd party. btw, Laura Ingraham did a poll which supports this.

If we have McCain, Hillary or Obama, as president, I believe it will be the end of this country as we know it (not to say that things MIGHT turn around in the future).

As for me, I’ll be voting for Romney or Huckabee just to stop McCain, but each person, of course, must decide what to do about that for themselves.

I have not decided yet who I will vote for in our caucuses in Feb., but I will not be McCain.

“but I will not be McCain.”

Good enough.

Among everything else, McCain, Hillary or Obama would force an (un)fairness doctrine on Americans.

The late Congressman Hyde was not impressed with Senator McCain:

“Hyde, who has criticized McCain for advocating weakening of the Republican Party’s pro-life platform plank.

Pro-abortion leaders also see a big difference. Following McCain’s win in the New Hampshire primary, the Republican Pro-Choice Coalition said that based on exit polls, “pro-choice Republicans overwhelmingly preferred McCain above all the other candidates.”’

McCain is bad news on countless issues.

Would a man who gutted our 1st amendment rights (McCain/Feingold) actually pick constitutional judges?

The practical suggestion is the same as it has been before Duncan Hunter withdrew. Continue to hold the Conservative line. That cannot be accomplished by supporting any of the GOP candidates. The Socialist Democrats have always maintained the Socialist line over several decades regardless of the circumstances while the GOP has acquiesced Conservative principles. The result has been the influx of illegal aliens, homosexuality in schools, excessive regulation under the guise of environmentalism etc... Now is the time for Conservatives to draw a line the sand and use the same strong arm tactics the Socialists have used so well.

We don’t have time for a 3rd party. In the next few years there will be at least two openings for SCOTUS justices and terrorists are crossing our borders NOW.

Another party would not be a third party. The GOP has been so intent over the years to include Socialists in the party that it's has been gradually aligning its political ideology with the Socialist Democrats. They are essentially one party. Another party would restore the two party system. The choice is to continue to cow tow a slow surrender one party ruled by Socialism or create a second party premised on Conservatism.

“Continue to hold the Conservative line.”

You can’t do that by wasting your vote. They tried that in 2006, and now the Dems are in control of the judiciary committee, and President Bush’s judicial nominees aren’t making it to the floor for an up or down vote. Do you realize how important it is to take back our courts?

“Another party would restore the two party system.”

I would LOVE for that to happen, but in the meantime we could lose our country. We need to be PRACTICAL, and limit the damage as much as possible WHILE we are waiting for a STRONG conservative party to emerge.

You can’t do that by wasting your vote.

It will be a waste if people use the rational voting for Socialists appearing to be Conservatives will help the Conservative cause.

They tried that in 2006, and now the Dems are in control of the judiciary committee, and President Bush’s judicial nominees aren’t making it to the floor for an up or down vote.

No they didn't try that strategy. They either stayed home or voted for socialists with the irrational thought it was preferable than aggressively seeking true Conservatives. That happened in Connecticut when Republican voted for Socialist Senator Joe Lieberman instead of supporting staunch Conservative and Republican candidate Alan Schlesinger! That only ensured six more years of Socialism. It is the same irrational thinking being preached on the national level and now apparently which you have embraced.

We need to be PRACTICAL, and limit the damage as much as possible WHILE we are waiting for a STRONG conservative party to emerge.

There in lies the problem. Everyone is waiting for the other person to do something instead of taking the bull by the horns remaining true to Conservative principles. That only ensures no on will do anything. That concept couldn't be more impractical. I have to admit I am some what surprised you are suddenly accepting the very defeatist attitude you were against prior to Duncan Hunter withdrawing. I thought the very fact Hunter espoused his Conservative principles and winning in a district with a 2:1 Socialist Democrat ratio would be proof enough a Conservative can still persevere despite seemingly insurmountable odds.

I don’t understand why you say “Everyone is waiting for the other person to do something instead of taking the bull by the horns remaining true to Conservative principles.”

We already have the Constitution Party, and other minor parties, and they only get 1% or less when they run for president. They are just spoilers. If they don’t first get a governor, U.S. senator or congressperson, their chances to win are almost zero.

I wish the minor parties that I like did do better, but they don’t. So until they do, we need to be practical and limit evil, and try to take back our courts.

Again, do you realize how important taking back our courts is?
