He should be on all the ballots where he would be originally. Also, I am not sure, but did Duncan pull out of the race ending his quest for the presidency or did he just announce halting campaigning?

I'm not sure of the regulation regarding when a candidate is formally considered withdrawn from the race. Is a brokered convention the only way he can continue to run and be nominated?

Can we do this? Get him back, I mean? I cannot vote for Rudy McRomney regardless of what the ‘GOP or die’ people keep saying. I planned to write in Duncan Hunter on the May primary ballot and the general.

It tells me that the leftward drift in leadership has been accompanied by a drift in the rank and file

He scrambled and endorsed Fred in the last couple of weeks because he saw that the RINOs were marching unabated. Too little, too late, wrong guy.

>>>As far as I know, Glen Beck and perhaps Laura Ingraham are the only two Conservative hosts who tried to help Hunter.<<<

Don’t forget about Ann Coulter - she has always supported Hunter (Even tho she is not a host of any specific show, she has a loud, clearly heard voice):

Hi, No, no the ping list, that's for someone who can pay full attention to it.

What I am talking about is having a BACK UP system to communicate in case FR ceased operations of all or some of us got 'baned' :)

0nce I create the group, I would share the password with 2 or 3 other people who could access and manage the group as well. We should never rely on one person only for anything... for obvious reasons.

Once the group is created, from inside the group's name, I will probably use the ping list to send a LINK to the group. You would need an email address. Once I get your email asking membership, you are in!. The email addresses will remain private. Everyone will be able to read everyone's comments, respond, just like in FR, and everyone will get an email with the response.

All members will send an email and everyone will get it... people respond, and everybody gets the response and so on. You may get a lots of eamils or have a future where you get 'summary' of a day's activity, or they can even reject all email

Like everything else, some people will love it and some will hate it. Some people will get tired of getting so many emails so they can opt for a 'Summary' of the day's activities (one long email). But the point is, this would be only a BACK UP system as I said before.

Now, that I could do... Manage this "backup/emergency email system."

By the way, you should always have backup/extra email addresses for a things like this. Althoug of course, I will keep them private, but after all, who knows, what can happen on-line... :) anything is possible.

I doubt it...Fred’s heart was never in the race and he just didn’t want it that bad. He was essentially pushed into it by his old mentor Howard Baker, Bill Frist, and several other old timers in the GOP national establishment.

Many of the Fredheads are going to support the RINOs, so lets not count on them. We are going to have to just bang on this and spread it as far and wide as we can. We should defintely alert Hotair, Malkin, Coulter, Laura, redstate, etc etc. But it will be the us that do most of the heavy lifting.

There’s no longer Tancredo or Thompson to pull support from and many have only accepted FLIP Romney as the nominee because Huckaflea and McAmnesty are so reprehensible.

I think we’d get alot of defectors if a REAL conservative was in the race and get our talking heads backing him. I think Hunter could pull some voters from all of the remaining candidates, especially if Rudy or Huckaflea drops out and there was a real debate going instead of the media-sponsored circus that we’ve already witnessed. FLIP Romney’s record has yet to be exposed for what it is...that of a LIEberal (support of Clinton’s AWB, MittwitCare, China, etc.).

For what it is worth, Hunter, Tancredo, and Thompson are still on the California ballot. I imagine they will be on all or most states who vote on Super Tuesday. I expect they will be on many other states as well that vote later.

I still won’t vote for him, however. He ran a terrible campaign, from the beginning. It was up to him to convince people to vote for him, and he failed.

I refuse to chase my tail like a dog.

And the goal is to get tons of others doing the same. Remember, Hunter is already on the ballot in many primary states for the primary vote. So I will get a list.

Good idea!

If memory serves me correct, didn't Calpernia have an interesting little blog in which we all visited to stay in touch with pissant after he was briefly banned in December.

PISSANT: Do you still have my home email address?
