Vanity: Help with Patriot Act Project

Posted on 01/22/2008 9:00:21 PM PST by onja

Pardons for this vanity, but I thought this would be the best place to ask for help. I will be doing an essay on the Patriot Act for school. I chose the topic and need to do research, get many sources, present both sides, and make a convincing argument for my side (pro).

No, I'm not asking anyone to do this for me. But if you have any sources, advice, anything, it'd be much appreciated. The paper itself is not due till the middle of April, but I want to get started in plenty of time and we have various deadlines for certain segments. I'll be analyzing the legal, moral, historical, contextual, and effectual reasons for and against the USAPATRIOT act.

So, thanks for any help.

You can also search FR for phrases or words within articles using Google and Yahoo.

Google is not as good at searching old threads anymore.

use Yahoo to generate more matches dating back to 2001’s discussions.

And you should also search for terrorist attacks that were prevented because of information obtained under the “patriot act”.
