New Website Goes Up To Counter Politico Lies

Politico.com an upstart (but seemingly well-funded) political blog has been sticking it to Fred Thompson for weeks. So Friends of Fred are Sticking it to Politico (dot com). Please visit the site.

Of course it's well funded. It's owned by the same family that owns the Washington Post, the Albritors.

They started this year with a staff of 50, and now have over 80, plus 40-60 unpaid volunteers.

However, I'm told by an unnamed source, their advertising has slumped off and layoffs are imminent if they don't pick it up in the next few months.

I went to their site and, by gosh, I don't see much advertising anymore, at all. I guess it must be true?

I've been wondering why this blog I've never heard of before this election season is suddenly the source of all political stories seen on TV news and even radio. Makes sense that it would have MSM backing given its supposed influence and obvious bias. Good for the creators of the anti-site. They're the ones I'll get my news from.
