Fred seems to be ahead of Hunter in the polls -- but not by much. I think the whole "Fred is electable/Hunter doesn't stand a chance" mantra is hogwash.
Hunter is the best choice. He's my guy.

Oh, but Fred has the best chance to win! He’s the most viable candidate! He’s the Law and Order candidate! He’s the best Conservative!
Enough pulling hair and screaming.
A manufacturer voting for Fred is a paradox.

Amen. And Hunter is focusing on some primary states that could get him some serious mileage. Such as Michigan, NH, Nevada, Wyoming, Arizona, Texas and SC.

Fred has all the things that should have made him a frontrunner. Movie star, lotsa cash, a sly pre-campaign that created much buzz. Yet he’s treading water. Time for him to get out.

The best way to play this is for Fred to ask Hunter to be his running mate and have Hunter throw all his votes to Fred.
But considering this probably won’t happen we will risk ending up with Rudy, Romney, or God forbid, Huckabust(which could easily put Hillary in power). But in the end it will be Thompson.

I don’t think Fred would pick Hunter. Hunter’s position on China is polar opposite of Fred’s as well as the rest of the top tier.

Hunter is the best choice. He’s “electable” against anyone in the DNC, but has to make it past the Nimby’s, Nanny Stater’s, and RINO socialists in the GOP first...

Hunter is far more electable than any in the top tier. Tough questions send the others into bickering and fighting among themselves but Hunter answers confidently each and every time.

"Further, Americas one-way-street trade relationship with China and other nations has reduced manufacturing jobs severely in the U.S. I would change the one-way-street into a two-way-street by putting the same charges on foreign goods that they put on ours." Let's see if I understand this. Hunter wants to punish me because the Chinese punish their own people?

And just how does China stealing 95% of our software and intellectual property, cyber-attacking our Pentagon and NSA, devaluing their currency to undercut US manufacturing, arming to the teeth with a yearly 250 billion trade surplus courtesy of our trade policy, and requiring technology “offsets” for trade benefit you? The answer, it doesn’t.
