Man, you just can't make up this type of stuff. I'm not going to run these ads which we are now showing you to prove to you that we're not going to run these ads...
But glad to see there's at least one Huckster supporter around here.
Let me get this straight - does anyone really think that by NOT running these ads on TV he somehow will benefit more? Rollins wanted to run these ads and pressured Mike to run them, but the candidate himself took it down.
Could be genious in the end, but we will find out. It is hardly a meltdown.
BTW - there are several FREEPERS who support Huckabee, but they have been treated so badly by the Fredheads that they no longer come here for debate. Me, I like to debate, even those who lack the intelligence to articulate their own position, but just regurgitate some label they heard their favorte columnist or talk show host use about someone.
Bottom line is the bottom line. He almost certainly did not have the money for a last minute buy so he tried to get it on the evening news instead. Hell, if I was a media outlet and someone wanted to air a last second ad, I would jack the price up a factor of 10 because it will cost me more to do a last second reshuffle of scheduling.
Huckabee is out of money and out of skills. He has been out organized and out scheduled. Any experienced campaign staff media person would know that having an ad aired during a news broadcast means the ad won’t air in its entirety, it will be snidely and sarcastically attacked by the anchor person, and it will become the object of ridicule rather than background subliminals.
Not ready for prime time.
