A theology degree is specifically focused on the study of God(thus the “theo”, wink) which entails such course work as would center on defining and specifying the attributes of God and His relationship to his creation.
A religion degree is specifically focused on various (or possibly one) system(s) of relating to God through various forms or organizations for worship and study. Theology may be(almost must be) included in a full understanding of religion but is only a part. How to illustrate this? ....
