“You should really study post 5...Huckster is borderline evil”
Not so sure about borderline.
The MSM is promoting him as a choirboy, as a spoiler for Thompson.
Welcome to FR, and thank you for your service.
Fred Thompson. Check out his stand on the isues:

I like Huck. My choices go, Hunter, then Huck, then Fred.
Please don’t insult me by saying my second choice is a total loser.
See my post #5
Thanks,,
Can I buy you a cup of Cyber-coffee?? :)
“The liberals, RINOs and Ted Kennedy wing of the Republican Party want us to believe that the Christian Conservative movement is dead.”
That is why Huckabee is doing so well in the polls, becaause evangelicals are backing Huckabee 2 to 1 in Iowa over Romney, because Huckabee is PERCEIVED to be the pro-life candidate.
Duncan Hunter attended the pro-life march in Washington, D.C. Huckabee did not.
Duncan Hunter said it was right for Congress to try to step in and save Terri Schiavo’s life. Huckabee was not sure.
When calling talk shows, and writing editor’s letters, we must make sure that pro-lifers know that Duncan Hunter is a strong pro-life candidate.
Remember, also, that he is from Arkansas, where Bill Clinton has many connections. Clinton has a Nobel Prize in dirt-digging, and has even tried to promote Huckabee as a good candidate. Just saying, beware. He is no doubt the one the Clintons see as easiest for Hillary to beat. (I know I've said this before on FR but it bears repeating.)
Huckabee is a fraud. Despite his recent phony rhetoric, he has a long history of backing phoney free trade (trade one-way, China's way, is not free trade), and of supporting the third-world invasion of the U.S., thus placing him in the treason camp. He is a neocon through and through.
I agree of course and one of the things we have to do is simply remain 'steady.' in our support for Duncan. Our steadiness should reflect our convictions! I belive there must be, I would guess 30% of people with our concerns. That is huge chunk of people, enought to affect the GOP's plans.
And the truth of the matter is just I don't see another candidate of the same quality, not even Mr Thompson, at this point anyway.
But I certainly believe the time has come to put up or sh...up. If we buy the argument that we should vote for mediocrity simply because it has and R next to the name, then don't complaint if are taking for granted and not taken seriously in the future. If on the other hand, we show them we MEAN BUSINESS but staying away from mediocrity, they will have to change their tactics the next time around... Or we should creat a third party or whatever... BUT we should not put up with the GOP's direction as of now.
There isn't anything else out there to vote for. If Tanc grabs traction, I'd happily vote for him, but otherwise I will be writing in "Duncan Hunter".
And so is Conservative support, if you hadn't noticed...
If you read my later posts on this matter, you can see that you well informed FReepers gave me info that persuaded me that indeed, Huckabee IS a fraud.
Now I’m going to vote for Hillary./s
The electorate looks more liberal than I’ve ever seen....yes, more so than 72.
The proof is in the general... if the Conservatives are gone, then Repubs are on the right course throwing away the Conservative ideology, and stepping down as the champion of the Conservative cause.
But I don't think so. I think the Republican Party is cruisin' for an a$$-whoopin' like they ain't never seen. And well deserved, too.
Good deal.
BTTT, concerning your post, is all I have.
