A CALL TO TRUE CONSERVATISM (Hunter)

Dear Friends and Family,

I am on the march to reclaim the Republican Party and true conservatism. I am calling on all of you to STOP the compromising, step out in faith and vote for principles. Dr. Dobson has set an example that in my opinion is long over due. Why is it that we seem to always need someone to step out first? I can tell you with all confidence that Giuliani, McCain, Paul and Huckabee are NOT true/genuine conservatives. Giuliani is just a liberal dressed up to look Conservative, McCain always says one thing and votes the opposite. I know, I live in his district. Paul continues to say outrageous and bizarre things and Huckabee is not solid on immigration, the war and when asked straight forward "Would you have signed the schip bill?" he would NOT give a straight answer! I shouldn't leave out at least one observation of Romney, he leans toward socialized health care.

Have you noticed this election is being driven by wealthy r i n o (republican in name only) conservatives, Progressives and both conservative AND liberal media? We must stop accepting the lesser of two evils. Stop sitting back and taking what these people are doing to our country/party, and stop swallowing the compromises they want to cram down our throats. We don't need to go along with this or to jump party. What we need to do is draw the line, take a stand and stop letting them run our future. We must follow our conservative convictions. If we don't, I can tell you this with all confidence that conservatism will become irrelevant. We will be expected to embrace the European way. NO MORE TOLERANCE. Speaking of Europe, they are seeing the errors of their ways and beginning to come out of it. Did you hear French President Nicolas Sarkozy in Washington today? ( look it up on fox) He received nine standing ovations. He reached out to America to restore and reunite our relationship and showed great sympathy and appreciation for the sacrifices Americans have made for France.

I want to turn the light on to Congressman Duncan Hunter. It is my belief that the powers that be ignore him because he closely resembles a Reagan Conservative. He is NOT in the pocket of any one, which was one of Reagan's strengths. Congressman Hunter is RIGHT on securing the borders, saving American jobs, winning the war on terror, defending the traditional American family and protecting the unborn. CONGRESSMAN DUNCAN HUNTER IS THE TRUE CONSERVATIVE! If we join together as real Americans to fight for what is right we can smack-down those powers that be and take back the Republican party. Remember, it only takes a spark. Lets burn with passion for true conservatism, for the sake of our children and grandchildren and FREEDOM!

I’m sorry he got banned but reading this thread and his previous thread on NRTL might give you a clue as to why he was banned. Not one specific post, but the general tone, I think he just went over the edge.

I can’t believe I’m doing this, but in his honor, I’m sending a donation to Duncan Hunter, who IS a true conservative who I think can’t win.

That will be my SECOND donation to a presidential candidate, NEITHER of which went to the guy I’m currently supporting, Mitt Romney.

No clue, but I suspect it would have something to do with repeated warnings to pissant to stop attacking a decent choice for conservatives in some misguided belief it would increase Hunter’s standings in the polls. Freepers attack liberals or those pursuing a liberal agenda. Thompson’s not.

“Im4Fred” is easily explained. I just got back and was “blessed” to be the recipient of an order to donate to Fred and stop “RINO’s” like Hunter.

Both of them were out of line from what I’ve seen. Thompson and Hunter are decent choices for conservatives. Neither are RINO’s and I find it offensive those two have insinuated as such. And while I am donating to thompson, it won’t be at that ones time and choosing.

My knock on Fred Thompson is “you do not elect someone that has worked as a lawyer or lobbyist.”

You hire them to shade the truth in your favor but never elect them!

A really nice old lady in my Church has been praising Ron Paul. She heard good things about him on a Christian Radio show. I’m going to votesmart.org and print out Hunter’s special interest group ratings and hand them to her.
