If these guys are such pathetic earners, maybe they should have waited until they could afford children.

(Why is it that so many self-proclaimed "Constitutionalists" know so little about the Constitution?)

As in McKeevers case, the state can authorize that an individuals commercial or regular drivers license can be suspended for failure to pay child support. Recreational licenses, permanent license plates, professional and business licenses can also be suspended, according to the state Office of Child Support Enforcements Web site.
Perfect logic. If they aren't giving you any money, make it so that they can't give you any money. Then put them in jail.

This is debtors prison ... pure and simple. Loathe be the guy who was making good wages in construction for years and then lost his job to illegals ... I could rattle off 10 people I know who had that exact thing happen to them.
What pathetic losers they were not to look into the crystal ball to see the future and plan their families accordingly

it disappoints me that i live in this state and i can tell you the democrats are well rooted here. My nephew and my teachers tell me we need free lunches, and that global warming is a fact. My brother had to pay child support to a meth using mom, he barely had money for food or gas.

The father of my three children, with a good job, paid child support one year out of 20 years. He was jailed by the judge for it, but his daddy bailed him out before his head hit the pillow. End of punishment. So, I raised my three daughters without child support, never asking for money from anyone, completely independent of any governmental assistance. My ex rarely saw the girls until they hit their 50’s!
I was fortunate. Looking back, I don’t know how I did it, except that I do know that I couldn’t have done it without the help of my Lord Jesus Christ, Who walked every step of the way with me, praise His Holy Name.
Results? My three beautiful daughters are all bright, well situated in their lives. and have good relationships with our Lord. I have so much to be grateful for! And, yes, He even helped me forgive their father.

Part time, huh? Then get another job. Real men do it all the time.

The deadbeat dad has become the pariah of our modern society, while the sainted single mom is put up on a pedestal. But how much press does the deadbeat mom get? I personally know many men, including several family members, who had or now have sole custody of their kids. How many of them get child support? Nada, thats how many. Why? For most of them, the same situations that caused them to lose their kids in the first place, pretty much render them incapable of gainful employment. Now a few of them did not pay any because the father preferred not to press the issue (for whatever reason), but they were the exception. Also, many of them tend to turn around and get pregnant again by some other guy. Then they go on welfare. But all you hear about is men who don’t pay their support.
